hi, been floating around reading threads every now and then. Anyway, noticed something strange so thought id ask for some advice/help.
I was driving down the highway today at 100km/h and i noticed that when i pushed the accelerator i could hear a flapping noise. it was only when i pushed the accelerator. when i took my foot off it stopped straight away. It's obviously coming from somewhere up front in the engine bay, but i have no idea what?
after that, if i listened hard enough i could hear it at lower speeds. but it was quite noticable at 100km/h speed.
Im not exactly sure if its new or not, as i usually put the music up when driving to block out the whistling noise
any help is much appreciated!
Forgot to mention, got a 2002 build mini cooper (yes non S)
