| The runflat indicator is run off the ABS sensors. It senses the wheels speeds, not the tyre pressure. If one of your tyres is rotating at a different speed to the others it assumes the tyre has gone down, and triggers the runflat light. Have any other lights come on, ABS maybe? My indicator triggers if there is about 10% difference in pressures so 30psi instead of 34 may have caused it. Equalise them all and see. And finally 34 psi seems a bit high to me, especially if the car isn't fully loaded with lugguage etc. |
