| radiator fan questions first i would like to say that i am new to this forum, but was kind of referred here from NAM. i am having a problem with my rad. fan the 50 amp fuse keeps blowing, so i checked it out, and the blades are stuck... how are the 2 speed regulated, is it a difference on voltage from the resistor? or is it elsewhere. also i am considering an aftermarket fan, i think it is 12" does anybody know what size teh stock fan is before i remove mine? also it would be helpful to know if the speed is controlled by voltage, as i think it is, then what the voltage is for low speed would be helpful, as i plan to go aftermarket, and want to make sure the lower voltage won't hurt the new fan. i figure it has to be 6 or 9 volts on low speed, and the full 12 on high. |

| The usual set up is that both speeds are run on 12 volts, there are just two sets of fan windings in the motor and the ECU switches the power from one to the other based on coolant temp. |
