Warning Light

Hi all,
Am in a spot of bother i have my driving test tomorrow and the ASC warning light has come on. Now i cannot have any warning lights on in the dash in order to sit the test. Is it possible to dis-arm the warning light temporarily? Car is booked with diagnostics later in the week. it' a 02 cooper.

I had this happen on mine, one of the brake sensors went, causing the DSC light to be on all the time and the traction to be off, no way round it other than to get it fixed.

As Rakey said, ABS sensor is the problem.

They're an easy job to do, and can be accessed with the wheel off. Only problem is there is one on each corner, and without a fault code reader, you won't know which corner has the problem - which is why it's usually a dealer job.

Sometimes the sensor just needs a clean and re-fit, sometimes they need replacing.
