Central Locking - MINI Cooper Forum

Hi all,

I have a problem with the central locking on my 53 reg mini. When I press the button on my key fob the central locking won't work. All that works is the locking mechanism for the petrol cap and I can't lock the passenger door from the inside so effectively I can't lock the car at all. The drivers door will lock if I put the key in the lock but I've no way of locking the passenger door. Has anyone ever experienced this problem or know how to cure it. thanks in advance for any help...

I disconnected the battery and this didn't work either...

Do both doors lock automatically when you drive over approx. 10mph. If they do it could be a keyfob problem, if not it could be a fuse or a relay problem.
