Power Steering Pump breaks an hour in to getting my cooper s :(

It won't be 2009 as you have Cabrio Cooper S's I assume that use the same system? They haven't been replaced with the R57 (2nd Gen Cabrio) model yet which isn't due out until late this year or spring next year. So make that 2012 .

You are right, I was at the Oxford MINI factory last month and pretty sure the Cabrio is still using the early PS pump system. I,m visiting the line again this weekend so can double check !
