Thanks for the response Cokey, the instructions are excellent.

I took my car to the dealer at Springwood, Brisbane. They hooked my car up to the diagnostics machine and 2 hours and $100 later told me I had a problem with the actuator which they could fix for $1200. I was less than impressed as I had told them it was the actuator when I booked it in.

I declined their offer. Quite honestly I can't remember ever having such poor service from a car dealer, and that's saying something. Forget the cost, which was ridiuclous, I thought they were fixing the problem, to keep me waiting two hours to tell me what I already new is appalling. That's the last time I will have anything to do with BMW.

Any Brisbane members out there who can recommend a specialist to work on Mini's?

This problem started with just the drivers side being broken the passenger side used to lock and open with the key and it also used to lock when i started driving however, now its gone the same as the drivers side. Does anyone have this same problem and has anyone fixed it? I don't know where to start. Any help would be great!

mine is exactly the same and now upon driving the doors do not lock? How do i go about getting this fixed without having to go to BMW mine is the 2003 model?
