United-Kingdom Funny noise turning lights on

Hello, another query. When i turn my lights on i hear a funny noise from somewhere up front- almost like a motor turning over for half a second. Any ideas??

More than likely it is the headlight leveling motors.

Roll the headlight level knob and see if it is the same noise.

Seems to be a different noise. Do the headlights have to level themselves each time you turn them on then?

yer this noise is just the headlights leveling themselves mate nothing to worry about. it makes almost a faint rumble noise dont it

In the left headlight only.

I get this sound in the left headlight only, and it has got really loud. I have recently changed one of the bulbs in the headlights but I doubt that would have any affect.

Do you think it might be the motor in the headlight?
