More traction problems.

on friday night had a problem where my traction control light came on, and my abs light... constantly on. After the car was re-started it was fine. Now today i drove it again and pulled out of my drive, not fast slightly touched the throttle and traction control was kicking in. then into second it still did it. And it was way to early as i hardly even accelerated. Now its doing it all the time and it keep's kicking in at stupid times.

Please help, cant seem to find anything on search?

Sounds like a wheel sensor is acting up. The best bet is to get your car in for diagnostic checks, could just be a cable detached or connection acting up which will be inexpensive to get fixed, but drive it carefully until you get it properly diagnosed.

We had a Nissan Pathfinder rental car which was almost new and the Stability Control light came on in the middle of Death Valley of all places, the rental company took it back for a dealer check, but we drove it ok albeit carefully until they changed it for a long way without any problem,

As Mr Goonery said, its one of the ABS sensors most likely causing the problem.

There's one sensor on each corner of the car, and it sends info to the ABS, Traction, and Runflat systems, so throws up all the lights at the same time.

Dealer diagnostics tell them which sensor is the cause, its a relatively cheap part, and shouldn't take them long to fix

Sensors can be dirty, or can be a bad connection, but dealers will just replace the part as its relatively inexpensive.
