Door closed switch - MINI Cooper Forum

Been having a problem with the interior light coming on and the passenger window going down a wee bit.
Was thinking its a problem with the sensor on the door.
any advice would be great thanks.
51 plate mini cooper.

been having a look for the switch that tells if the door is shut, but cant see it.
Anyone know where it is on the door?

The switch you are talking about is built in to the door catch assembly itself, to gain access you will have to remove the door card.

It is possibly that switch, but it is also a possibility that it is te BC1 unit with water ingress...

BC1 unit sounds expensive.
