Auto dimming interior light/ Boot Compartment LIght - not working

Need some help -

For some reason the main interior (auto dimming light) which comes on and off when you open and close the doors & also comes on when you switch the car engine off - seems to have packed up - I have also noticed that the boot caompartment light has also failed. Note my Vanity reading lights eitherside of the mainlight are still working.

I have checked the FUSE F14 10A and that appears to be fine.

Am i missing something here? as id rather fix it myself than pay MINI £100 per hour to change a fuse that I could of missed!!

Forgot to mention - the mini has recent had a LH door ding done and the mini body shop & they old me they had to replace all the doorcasings etc to spray the door, could this this of effected something as reading other threads in notice the earthing points are located in the LD door sills!!!!

Thought Id add - I just checked and the FOOTWELL lights dont work too!!!!

I'm pretty certain that this can be cured by resetting the interior lighting, I'm not absolutely certain but I read on here somewhere that this can be done by pressing and holding the button on your main interior light (the one on the headliner towards the rear of your MINI).... Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that sounds right.
