Then check if the flap is really moving. When I press the recirc button, I can hear it moving (when at a dead stop & the radio is off).

I can hear the recirc stuff cycling on and off - if only it was that simple.

still irritating the hell out of me though. Parked next to another Cooper at work all day. Get back to find mine covered in condensation, t'other one completely clear.

my 56 MCS is booked into dealer weds, nothing is getting rid of my ( very ) steamy windows, airco recirc, hard long run, parking in sun, parking inside running full heat on, i think the windscreen is the culprit.

rain is getting in 4 sure

it blows air to the windscreen well enough and the recirc button works/ turns off

My car has had a history of fogging up. Not when you first get in, but after you'd been driving for a while. (maybe 20 minutes or so) It had a grommet missing from the firewall, (because the dealer hadn't re-fitted it properly) and when this was replaced it stopped doing it. We also crack expansion tanks down here. Not sure if that's an issue in the colder climates, but if its leaking it can add to the problem.

I love Warsaw. Where else can you hug a pole?
