| Warning lights I had all discs and pads replaced at a main dealer a few days ago. After about 300-400 miles of bedding them in, I started to drive a bit harder. Going through a longish right hander, and starting to accelerate from the apex, the ABS, tyre pressure, and ASC lights all came on yellow.
Nothing felt untoward with the car, but I stopped, turned the engine off and back on again, and the lights went out.
However, they come back on when I'm accelerating out of a bumpy corner. Obviously these lights all work off the wheel-speed sensor, so I did a bit of investigating to try and establish the cause.
With ASC off, the lights eventually all still come on (so maybe not related to wheelspin under acceleration). Doing a full-bore standing start, and allowing ASC to continue kicking in all the way through second, does not put them on.
They don't come on under braking either - anyone got any ideas? Obviously the car will be going back to the dealers for them to sort it, I'm just wondering if anyone has had this problem. Statistics are like mini-skirts, they give you a lot of ideas but hide whats important |
