Xenon Headlight Fault, Always on pointing at the ground I recently replaced the battery in my 2005 Cooper S (USA). Afterward I noticed that the headlights turned on as soon as I turned the key on. However, the headlights do not fullly level when they are on. This model does have the option of selecting the headlights to automatically turn on in low lighting, but the switch is off. I cannot turn the lights off with the light switch. The light switch on the turn signal does nothing.
I disconnected the battery from the car and let it reset itself, but the fault is still there. Xenon's aren't much good when they point only at the ground!
Can anyone tell me if there is a reset specifiaclly for the lights. Or is there a previously described sensor failure that I can replace.
Thanks in advance. |
