Smile Mini satnav- where has the MINI startup wallpaper gone?

Hi Guys,

I love my dark silver MCS 52 plate. Recently, I have noticed that my in-built, orginal software sat nav has been behaving differently.

1. the MINI wallpaper has disappeared (it used to be there everytime I put my key in the car.)
2. It can now take a few minutes with a blank screen before the satnav or inbuilt computer figures show up.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can try?

thanks for your comments,

Actually, this is an indication that your battery is getting ready to die. If this is the original battery, check the window to see if it is still green. If it isn't, you need to check the cells to make sure they are all full and you may need to get a new one.
