looking at buying a mini one has had a oil leak from the engine sump advice please!!!

looking to buy a mini one tomorrow 2004 - 11,000 on the clock - warrenty runs out in November has recently had an oil leak from the engine sump fixed by mini is this a massive concern?? also any other things i should
look out for?? thanks

It only has 11k on the clock? doubt its a massive problem, if your concerned try to get some money off/extend the warrenty.

Isnt everything done by MINI garanteed for 2 years? (im not sure?)

Is it a trade or private buy?

its a private buy. does it have a 2 year guarantee

just out of interest how much would you pay for the car

its spec is
12 Months MOT, Astro Black, 1.6i Petrol engine, 2004 - 54 plate, (11436 Miles), Remote Central Locking, & 2 Remote Keys, Electric Windows, I am the second owner

Mini Aero Body Kit & Spoiler, Cooper white bonet stripes, Mirror caps in body colour, 17" S-Spoke Mini Alloys with low profile run flat tyres, Front Fog Lights, Front Spot Lights

Look around on the net at prices, I mean official MINI dealers are selling 2004 54 MINI One in Black (as I have got) for like £7995! But autotrader is less - up to a grand less.

Remember the facelift model came out in July 2004, which has far better rear lights and a few changes - like better gearbox. Is the one you have seen the facelift model?

How much are they selling it at?
