 how do you fit a new colplete convertible roof
Hi I have just loined the forum after buying a mini convertible 54 plate 7 the conv roof will not open. The roof tries but will slide back only millimetres and a buzzing noise appers. BMW say that the claws which hold the roof into the top of the windscreen one of the wires has broken and it needs a new ront section of sunroof at 1100 pounds. I have purchased a secondhand roof and request advice if it is possible to fit at home, how difficult is it. the roof is complete with motor & everything fitted.
If anyone knows firstly how to rectify the stuck roof issue please get in touch or how to fit a complete new roof. Any help would be grestly appreciated..
