trouble clearing DTC's w/ ScanGauge II

Just got ScanGaugeII a few days back. It's a wonderful peace of equipment for the money.

Now I'm trying to clear trouble codes with it, but it is not happening. Everything else works like a charm. The car is R50 MC, the SG II firmware is v3.17 and the DTC codes are of P1xxx type. All associated to TPS related troubles.

When I confirm to clearing the codes, the display just stays blank - until I'll hit the home button and the DTC's are still there.

Has anybody had similar issues while trying to clear this type of DTC codes?

A scanguage will NOT clear, ABS, DTC or air bag codes.
You need other specialist code readers to do this and diagnose the fault i.e. which wheel sensor is faulty before you can clear the code.

Okay, this is what I imagioned it could be.

Are these "unclearable" codes always of certain prefix type (i.e. P1xxx)? If so, which kinds you can clear with ScanGauge then (body codes [Bxxxx], network codes [Uxxxx], powertrain codes [P2xxx/P3xxx], etc)?

As a quick followup to my own posting...
I was pleased to see these trouble codes finally clearing up by themselves - after I had fixed the problem and have had a couple of weeks of trouble free motoring since.
