Interior central light switch - Plastic cover missing!

Hi Guys & Girls

Quite a while ago another owner said they'd lost a piece of plastic covering one of the side switches in the central light switch in their car...

Well now its happened to me in my S!

The switch works but with the cover missing its starting to annoy me!

My question is can the plastic cover be purchased without the need to get a whole new interior light as our friend was told he had to when a reply was given in his post.

The post was in back in 2004 so i'm thinking hopefully things have changed....

Has this happened to anyone else and if the cover is available can someone point me in the right direction?

Small thing I know but i have OCD and everytime I get in the car I can't help but look at it!

Mine's a 54 plate.

Cheers and advice welcome please!

Yes you can get those, I had one of mine that wasn't there when I bought the car and like you it irritated the hell out of me. You just need the plastic switch cover and you can just click it into place yourself. Apparently the garage I got my car from said it is a common problem, they just fall out of their own accord.

I personally went back to my dealer as i had only recently bought the car and they had some spare. But yes i guess eBay would be worth a try.
