| 1st gear noise on a 2005 S Guys - My Mini Cooper S convertible makes a noise when clutching into 1st gear that sounds like the front brakes on a 10 speed bike going down hill. It goes away after a few minutes of driving but it has worsened over time. Any ideas on what this might be and how I can fix it? Thanks, Mark D.  |

| I think it's the clutch seal leaking causing that noise. It usual happens when not used often or when it's first started. Possible replacement in future might as well wait for the clutch to go. |
