Handbrake Light

Hi, the Red handbrake warning light on my 52 Mini One remains on even though the handbrake is fully down.

Any advice?

Thanks

Time to do 2 things
1 - read the hand book
2 - get your brakes checked - one of the brake pad wear warning sensors is telling you that you have more or less no brake pads left. It could be either front or rear as they use the same warning light.

Right i have read the handbook and all i needed to do was put more brake fluid in as it was low, this has solved the problem and the brakes are also now more responsive hope this helps others.

Good news - I thought that you would have checked the obvious as part of your weekly routine of checking fluid levels, tyre pressures etc.
