Question 1st gear problems in traffic

When I gear in 1st gear repeatedly in traffic with a Getrag gearbox, after 4 or 5 times, it sort of crunches but it feels like "less lubricant" rather than a rough crunch. Its like 'grasped' in gear...any ideas?

Other than that the Gearbox is nice a smooth, even reverse doesn't crunch...just this little detail...an ideas or someone knows why?

cheers

If you're looking for help with a problem, you should be starting a thread in the appropriate Faults and Fixes forum and giving the thread a more meaningful title.
