passenger footwell wet. Any ideas?

Hello
The left hand side of the left fron footwell is wet in my 05 cooper conv. It has been very wet weather but the drivers side is dry and I have had no passengers who could have had wet feet. I have booked it in with local dealer but am told this wont be covered on warranty so are there anythings I could look at e.g. blocked drain holes (dont know where they are)

Any advice appreciated

I have had the same today. Went to get in the car to take it to the dealer regards the seat heater burning through the seat and noticed the passenger footwell absolutely soaked. The inside of the roof but only in the rear part of the car is also wet with loads of drips of water on it, and the dampness has also gone through a bit to the boot.As you said the drivers seat is completely dry.

It is booked in next week to try and find the faults with the leak and the seats.

I had this problem with my 02 model. when i had my windscreen replaced the leaking stopped. the guy from autoglass pointed out that the seals on the windscreens come a bit lose or if you have had a screen replaced a poor job on the windscreen replacement. so you might want to look around the seal to see if it has come up a little.

Air Conditioner drain could be blocked, Sunroof has drains in the corners that could be blocked as well.

Since you mentioned "...The inside of the roof..." a Sunroof Drain problem looks likely.
