 Manifold change now power steering gone! OMG! Just had a garage fit my gtt manifold and on the way home my power steering slowly stopped working! Within 5 miles. I know they needed to move the fluid pot briefly but surely this wouldn't damage my steering? Coincidence?please advise. I'm taking it back tomorrow but they're an exhaust specialist NOT mini garage.  |

| If you still have fluid in the 'pot' and no leaks then it is most likely coincidence as PS failure is usually due to the electrical part of the pump going faulty........unless they have damaged the wiring or knocked a connector loose while working nearby. |
