 Bonnet catch Hi my passenger side bonnet catch is no longer working meaning that even though the catch with the yellow handle is holding the bonnet and so is the other catch on the other side. i have replace the catch with a brand new one but i have now found this was not the problem. the problem is that the metal wire which opens and closes the catch (opens with the bonnet opening handle) has seized up and not moving. meaning that it is not moving the catch. i have got a price of a garage to replace the wire they are saying £120. is there a cheap fix? or anyway of getting the wire to work again? i have tried WD40 thankyou chris  MINI One   |
