compression fault along with traction control fault

I have recently bought cooper s jcw with 30,000 miles .
I have had it a month now and today i have encountered warning lights on the dash , along with a slight engine fault.

firstly the the traction control light is now illuminated constantly. i have had the diagnostics read and it says there is a fault with tyre pressures. Which i have checked and corrected but the light remains lit.

Also the engine light which is a warning for the exhaust system is permenantly illuminated. The diagnostic result said that i have compression issues at the manifold. are they known for sensor faults.? at low revs when setting off, the engine can stall and it feels rough in low revs. On odd occasions i lose power for a second or so. More so when i let of revs and re-apply.

I hope somebody on here has come across similar issues and can help me find the fault without paying through the teeth at the main dealer.
