Fuses, Relays & Earth Points: http://www.mini2.com/forum/maintenan...th-points.html Engine compartment fusebox F8 30A Heating A/C blower, EHPS cooling fan No EHPS fan fitted in UK to the Mini One but some export models appear to have it. (EHPS = Electro-Hydraulic Power Steering)

checked Hi Checked the fuses , all are ok . got under the car and waited till the radiator fan started working after a drive and the fan of the steering pump did not move. connected it directly to the battery and it worked fine. what should i do? just paid 600 GBP for the steering pump don't want it to die again Thanks

The fan should run if the AC is on or the radiator fan is running on its higher speed I think. The PS fan relay might be faulty if the fuse is ok. The PS fan relay is located behind the left kick panel passenger foot-well (RH drive UK). Remove the cover, the fuse panel and turn it over. According to the Bentley manual and my fuse/relay listing above, the relay is K69923.

All, I have this problem as well and been trying to work it out. Do I have to unbolt the fuse box and remove it to reveal relay K69923? I removed the plastic kick panel thing to reveal some relays but I dont think they were the right ones. How do I know when I find K69923? Also how do I check the relay? thanks trm

There are more relays on the back of and behind the fuse panel. These are hidden from view and are not very accessible. To access the relays you can usually open the passenger door (UK RHD) and partially remove the rubber door sealing gasket that runs along the door frame - where it changes direction from the door sill to the vertical part of the door frame. Remove a single plastic push fit holder to the upper right of the fuse box access lid. Use some gentle force to push back the plastic kick plate around the fuse box. Standing outside the passenger side of the door looking in as you push the plastic kick plate back you will see the varous relays. The Bentley Mini manual has a photo identifying each relay but is not that clear. If a relay is working you can normally hear it click as the circuit is energised or the component it is controlling is operated.
