Hey Guys I'm ripping my hairs out of my head. My fiancees 2003 mini cooper S will not start (58K miles). I've been working on it for a week. It first began with the car suddenly turning off in the middle of the freeway and sometimes experiencing a loss of power under heavy acceleration. Then I noticed that the car would run as long as a didn't floor it. I read some posts on forums stating that it could be the valve for the Super charger. Later the car began failing even worse. It would not want to start sometimes ( the engine would turn but no ignition)!!! After a few tries it would start. This got me thinking that it wasnt the valve but with the fuel management system. So I order a new fuel filter (the old one was very dirty)...no change, I then order a new MSD ignition coil, ngk spark plugs and new plug boots... no change

then i finally replaced the fuel pump.. guess what NO CHANGE AHHHH!!

I have checked the fuse for the pump (Good) and I can hear it working. I took the intercooler off and checked to see if the fuel rail had any pressure, it did, but NO FUEL sprayed out, only air!!! What the hells next!

Are the fuel lies plugged, fuel relay not working, fuel regulator not working?

When I changed the old fuel filter for the new i noticed that the housing (passenger side) it was in ( I dont know exactly what it does sorry ive been researching this little car like heck, im used to american cars)

had a few hoses connected to it, one of them a clear hose that seemed to be ripped but not sure, could this be it? PLEASE ADVISE!!!
