| Noise at 12MPH
I have noticed since I bought my car (02 cooper) that when I first set off there is a noise when the car reaches 12MPH. I can only really describe the noise as a grating sound, and it occurs if the car is in gear, out of gear, clutch up and clutch down. This only happens once, but reoccurs if the engine has been switched off.
I had a loan cooper (2005) for a few weeks whilst mine was in for repairs and this had the autolock feature at 12MPH so I'm aware that this exists. Could it be possible mine has it but the lock isn't being engaged? |
