My tachometer has stopped working! - MINI Cooper Forum

Good grief, why do I get all the wierd faults.
The tachometer stopped working a few weeks ago and then, just as mysteriously, started working when I used the turn signal. This weekend it stopped again but no amount of signaling can get it to come alive. Anyone else with this?

Sounds like a tech from Lucas decided to get back in the business of (badly) wiring British cars for the American market...

It will require a new rev counter fitting to cure this fault...i have fitted them before to cure such a fault!
