Mini ONE 2002 Hesitating/Jerking - MINI Cooper Forum

Hi
Like a lot of guys here, i also have this problem in my r50
I'd like to note only one thing :
I parked my car , put it in Neutral/Parking gear.
and slowly , gently and smoothly pressed on the gas pedal
and suddenly i noticed something : even when my foot was constant,
the RPM weren't so. it kept moving up and down!!!
Maybe this could give us a hint or a clue to know what is the problem?!

i think this could mean that the problem with jerking in CVT is coming from the rpm - they are unstable
