| 2004 MC engine over-revving My 2004 MC has been over-revving for some time. When it tries to shift from around 30 mph or more notably from around 60 mph, the RPMs will jump 1-2K before settling back (typically at 34ish mph and 65 or 69ish mph). When I slow back down, the revving picks up again, its as if the car thinks it should rev at 4000rpms at 60 no matter what and back down to 2-3k at 55 or 65 mph. Weird, I know. Not sure what the problem is, anyone have a similar issue or ideas of how to fix it? Not sure if it is as easy as a fluid flush or if it needs something more. |

Hi mate! Got a 2003 Cooper auto which does exactly like yours! Have had this problem for 12 months now, and no fix! Would be interested to know how you got on with your over-revving problem? |
