Red Tyre Pressure Light

Hi, i've just had my MOT done and found that the tyre pressure light is red - i've been searching on here and checked the manual yet it only says what to do when it's a yellow light.

I had a new front-left tyre put on with the MOT so i'm wondering whether it's just the pressure difference with that tyre compared to the rest of them, now i know i can just hold down the button next to the handbrake to turn this off but i'd prefer to know if theres a problem first without just forgetting about it.

Are you sure that it's the tyre pressure light? If your car is a first generation, then you are correct, the light is yellow and not red. Second generation have a red "run flat " indicator.
The brake warning symbol is similar to the tyre pressure monitor light and should come on when the handbrake is applied. It will also come on if the brake fluid is low or, together with the ABS and stability control lamps, if there is a problem with a wheel sensor or other ABS components
