| I got stuck at a store today, jumped into the car after shopping started my 2002 Mini Cooper Automatic placed in drive and nothing cant move a inch, noticed a EP light on. Had to have the car towed home. This past saturday ive been looking online and have seen tons of CVT trans problems , so i thought my CVT belt broke i droped my trans pan & removed the trans pack and my CVT belt is ok and not broken also the CVT oil and bottom of the pan looked clean. What could this be??? a sensor/bad trans computer?? what?? car runs but cant move at all ,it does go into every gear just fine. |

| I thought it was the Battery Also, got a new one & same problem. Ive just read a post on a other forum that someone had the same problem but no one had replied to there post yet. Im going towards some fried electronics/switch somewhere it think. Oh if anyone cares there is a 02-06 Mini Cooper Complete Service Manual download on the other forum (NAM). its a large file but worth the free download. thought i would throw that in as i was hunting the internet last night for a service manual. |
