airbag warning light ,whats the precedure?

hi,, this week my airbag warning light has come on and stayed on in my 52 plate cooper s,,when i bought the car from garage about 14 months ago the light was on on my test drive , the garage sorted it and no probs until now,,,any help what needs to be done?? cheers,stevex

The light will need to be dealt with either by an auto diagnostics garage, or by getting a reset tool. I have just bought this Airbag light reset tool for BMW AUDI MERCEDES VW PORSCHE CITROEN MINI

Hasn't arrived yet but a lot of people on her vouch for it. It reads the error code, so you know why the light has come on and will also turn the light off, providing the error has been corrected.
