Dash cluster Question - MINI Cooper Forum

i have an 06 r53 and the main speedo dash cluster has shorted and burnt out. would i be able to just put a used dash cluster in and it would work as normal or would i have to have it reprogrammed

MinisparesUK or MiniMatt are pretty helpful for this kind of advice, especially if you are thinking of buying the speedo from them! Let us know the definitive answer unless someone here posts the info first.

thanks but i am in the US and cant call them. and the dealer ship needs to know by today. any one else have an idea on this
