Rattle noise , found it but what to do?

Hi,

I noticed a strange rattle noise from the engine the other day so i opened up the bonnet and had a look, please excuse my ignorance but i don't know the name of the part! Basically its coming from the part that the HT leads come from not plug into to! basically the small black box at top of engine is rattling , i can shake it and it moves, i have tried to tighten the bolts but they can't tighten anymore, thought about putting a couple of washers in to take up the slack but thought i would ask here first! i have taken the bolt off and its very long with a threaded end and a sort of rubber ring seal at the other.

Thanks guys!

Hi

Sounds like the coil pack
It should have rubber bushes underneath it and on top of it to isolate it from the engine vibration.
Best thing to do is pop it off and check it only 4 bolts easy job

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, there are indeed rubber bushes at the top but none at all at the bottom, I suppose this makes sense to the rattle now! Are these easy to get?

Thanks!
