Question Where to find replacement for leaking Motor Mount?

Hello all,

The motor mount (engine mount) on my 2006 MINI Cooper appears to be leaking. From what I have read this seems to be a DIY type fix. The only question I have is where can I get a replacement motor mount in the USA (a good reliable one)?

Thank you for your help!

Would you recommend changing both motor mounts at the same time? The one on the passenger side seems accessible, not so sure about the one on the right. Are both of them DIY?

Hi ya

Yer all three are a DIY job left hand gearbox mount and right hand engine mount and sabaliser mount underneath.
I would only surgest changing them if you think they are worn out but I would advise having a good looking at them Anyway to make shore there ok though. Before doing you hyd right hand engine mount.
Just make shore when you use a trolley jack under the engine to support it when you release the mounts do one side at a time use a piece of wood of something to spread the weight the sump can be damaged very easy, so don't use a jack directly on to it, I have abit of 1" thick ply wood.

I don't think there are to much money for the others

There are other options for the other two mounts like power flex bush kits or super flex kits it all depends on your budget.
There are pro's and cons for both option and most o it's budget

Thank you everybody for your help. Yesterday I got the replacement part from the MINI dealer for $125. Today with my Dad's help we changed the passenger side Motor Mount. It was a fairly easy DIY job, and only took around 2 hours. The only downside is that we had to go to Pep Boys to get the E12 socket.
