Looks like I bought a duff mini..someone please help

Ive always wanted a mini cooper and 6 months ago I bought a 54 plate mini cooper s with 35,000 miles on the clock. I've had problems ever since. I bought it from a seller on auto trader. I've already paid out £500 for a steering rack and and new brake pads. The steerings always been poor but the other day it stopped working completely. Saw that this was a problem with the earlier minis so took it to mini hoping that they would end up paying for a new pump. Well the car hasn't got a power steering cooling fan at all and the pump is not working. Because it hasn't got a cooling fan mini won't pay anything. They also said it has been in an accident and not fixed properly or fixed well. None of this I was told when I bought it so now feel really stupid and sat in tears.

I looked up the car to see if it was in an accident any finance etc but nothing showed up before I bought it.

Anyway mini want £700 for new fan and pump which I can't afford. I can get a pump from eBay but does anyone know where I can get a fan?

Sorry to ramble hope someone can help.

Ok thanks for that. Will I need a new fan or will a used one be ok?

Anybody know how easy they are to fit or do I need to take it to my local garage?

Power steering pump and the little electric fan on MCS is not a big job, local garage should take about 2 hours labour to replace both parts, everything you need to know in this link here:
Power Steering Pump replacement - Forums

Pump is item 1 and Fan is item 9 here:

You can also try here for a new fan:
