Loss of coolant

Hi,

My 05 one has started loosing coolant since the weather turned cold a few weeks ago. The engine runs smoothly ( no mechanical noises around to worry me) and I cannot see any evidence of leaks around the radiator or traces of coolant on my garage floor.
Any idea of what might have been damaged by the cold ?

if you have been running coolant with a high freezing point like water, perhaps froze due the weather and expanded causing a slight crack which leaks once the fluid heats up and opens the crack?

check the thermostat. kinda hard to see. if u see small traces of coolant on the power steering pump its almost always the thermostat
