Heater matrix broken!!!!!!

Well I have bought the car second hand, 1 owner from new and she has kept all the recipts of full BMW mini service history and parts she has had to buy.... Problem started yesterday, windscreen misting up and strong smell of antifreeze in the car... Put my hand near the heater box to find it wet!!!!
Checked through all the paperwork that came with the car to fin it has had 2 x heater matrix fitted so far... Last one 1.5 yrs ago... Rang the dealer where all the previous work has been done and it is still covered on there 2 yr warranty as she paid for the matrix to be done the last time...so car going in this afternoon and if it is the matrix at fault they going to change it for free!!!!!
But surely there must be a problem with these as this will be its 4th matrix.... The car has only done 70,000 on a 54 plate !!!!!!!!

Either unlucky with faulty batch of parts if it is the matrix rad itself leaking.....or there are some rubber O-ring connectors on the inlet and outlet pipes which can be damaged when fitting the matrix if it not carefully installed.

Make sure they dry out underneath the front carpets as the underfelt is like a sponge holding coolant!

Well car went to the original dealers where the previous owner had the work done and they replaced the matrix free of charge... As it was in the warranty period for the last one being fitted.......
