intercooler oil Question

Hi guys on my R53 MCS JCW , i have noticed that there is a lot of oil going throught the pipe from the intercooler passengers side back into the main block, is this normal, i kinda think not as this pipe is just on there with no clips etc so i the pressure was to build surely it would blow the pipe off ? ( iam new to IC and SC cars so i just ddont know how they work ) if its not normal then what can it be ? wonder if someone can give me some advice please.
