Hi guys on my R53 MCS JCW , i have noticed that there is a lot of oil going throught the pipe from the intercooler passengers side back into the main block, is this normal, i kinda think not as this pipe is just on there with no clips etc so i the pressure was to build surely it would blow the pipe off ? ( iam new to IC and SC cars so i just ddont know how they work ) if its not normal then what can it be ? wonder if someone can give me some advice please.
I read this and was abit confused would be good to get some photos up but you can't I don't. Are you talking about the intercooler horn? I don't think there should be oil in the intercooler? I clean myn out ones a year to clean exses oils.
H, alli sorted, worked it out for myself, cleaned the ic out and got ride of a load of oil deposits and she runs a bit smoother so all good, will put pics up in future, as I'm no wordsmith sorry about that, considering and oil catch can to stop it in future. Cheers
