 Throttle response - Hesitation
Thought I would share with you all. I recently bought a 04 cooper with 50K miles. It is in really good condition and the engine is smooth and quiet. The only problem was that there was a slight hesitation when you pressed the accelerator.
Note, before you start replacing fuel filters, spark plug leads, coils etc invest in a bottle of injector cleaner, I used Wynns.
I gave it a try and the result was immediate the hesitation was gone and hasn't returned since. Definatly worth as a 1st step! |
