| 2001 Mini Cooper CVT Problem Please Help
Hi, Hoping some one out there can help me out with this. Have a 2001 Mini cooper auto with the CVT gearbox. The other day I went to start it and it wouldn't turn over, nothing at all. Then i noticed on the display it wasn't displaying P so i shifted in to Reverse and R came up on the display. Shifted in to N and nothing came up on the display for N either. Shifted in to D and D came up on the display and all tiptronic gears come up. Display does not show P or N when those positions are selected and car wont start, I assume because the car wont unless it is in P or D. As i cant start the car i cant take it to a garage and ive phoned around a few places and not got any help. Searched the internet and not found anything. Please can some one shed some light on this problem.
