| Replaced Battery & horn kepts going off
Hi Guys,
I have a problem on my 2005 Mini Cooper-S convertible.
I left my mini at parents in their garage while I worked away, for about 5months, so the car was left sitting (big mistake).
The battery went death and I have had to just replace with a new one, 2 x nights ago and everything worked fine at first.
I locked the car and left it on their driveway, but 25mins later the horn starting going off super load, it only won’t stop unless I hit the steering wheel and then a 2 x sec’s later it would go-off again so I’ve had to disconnect comply?
Someone told me that because I changed the battery, it might need to be reprogrammed again and that’s the reason why I might be having these problems?
Has anyone else had these’s problems?
Any suggestions please?
