Passenger Door Won't Open

Hi guys, I have an issue with the passenger door on My R53.

I replaced the Actuator around 2 months ago and all was working fine, until you get a passenger who can't wait to get out of the car when parking and pulls the door handle to open it as the central locking is unlocking the doors.
When this happens the passenger door won't open from any handle and won't resolve itself. I have to remove a battery lead, remove the passenger seat (if I don't remove the battery lead before this, removing the seat will trigger the air bag light) , remove the screws from the door card and then put my hand inside the door and pull the lever the outer handle should be pulling and then the door opens.

Has anyone else seen this at all? Do I need to do anything else after replacing the actuator or does it look like the actuator I fitted is faulty? I bought it new from Mini

the exact same thing happens with me buy luckily all i have to do it flick the central locking on and off a few times and then the handle opens... Very annoying though
