I picked this Mini up cheap with a bad CVT.

the input shafts bearing went bad and made a mess.

That was a bearing but just the housing is left.

Here is a shot of the input shaft right on bench and the housing in my hand held up with missing bearing.

Nice work so far. As long as you have things apart you might want to check the condition of the belt in there. I think that's what goes bad most often.

Save the R50's!
