| Headlights switching on by themselves
Hi,
Very strange yet annoying problem.
My 2005 Mini one's headlights switch one and off by themselves. This happens when the engine is running and stationary. On a few occasions now I have had the battery run flat because of it.
Possibly unrelated, but a couple of days ago the car failed to turnover at all, however a few hours later it started like nothing was wrong.
Has anyone else suffered similar problems? Or can anybody suggest what could be wrong before I take an expensive trip to a local auto electrician?
My gut says the ignition electrics have become worn... But appears like a long shot!
