Replacing the front bumper outer plastic trim

Hi there,

I'm currently driving a 2005 Mini Cooper; I noticed today that the plastic trim on the front bumper of the passenger seemed to have popped out a bit. When I looked closer, it seemed to be barely staying in place, which it seems is because it had broken in some places (pictured below). I'm relatively certain I've identified the part as number 51117130311 and see that it's not too expensive to order.

What I'm wondering is if anyone has experience replacing this particular part? If so, is it pretty feasible to do it yourself? I'm imagining that since it looks like pieces have snapped off at connections at the top and bottom, some other pieces might need to be ordered. At this point, I'm really just concerned about it from a cosmetic standpoint rather than anything else.

Thanks for your help.

The fixings are still in the piece thats come off but it looks like it must have been caught and ripped off, looks like where the bottom of it attaches to the front skirt is damaged but its difficult to see clearly on the photo, also the wheel arch liner looks a little tatty down the edge there too. You need to offer the part up and see where is pulled out of its fixing to determine if it can be refixed with whats there or it needs repairing, the piece thats fallen off looks intact.
And your front tyre needs renewing too.

Thanks for your advice. I'll take a closer look at the connecting pieces above and below, but certainly on the top it seems that a connecting piece has snapped off (the white bit seen in the photo) and I believe on the bottom the connecting piece has snapped as well, albeit that may be easily fixable as the piece is still intact except for the clean break.
