The ABS and Airbag lights don't work.
They don't come on when th car is started and this is an NCT (MOT) failure.
I used an OBD scanner and there are no faults on the ECU so I'm thinking it's just the bulbs themselves.
Has anyone replaced these bulbs?
How do I go about it? I'm a bit worried about pulling the instrument cluster apart in case I cause it more damage but I'm looking to sell and as of now it's sitting unused and I wanna get it fixed asap.
I'm new to this and not all that good with a computer but I have a prob that's causing me to loose sleep I've got a Mini 1 r50 with no ABS light showing on start up does anyone got a clue what the prob is got a feeling its just a bulb and that's the next question how do you get the speedo out would appreciate all the help someone could give me please

I'd get the car checked out on a diagnostics machine before changing bulbs as it may light up during the diagnostic test therefore the problem will lie elsewhere
I think it's highly unlikely to be an instrument cluster bulb. Most of these are LED now and they have a hell of a service life. Have you checked the condition of the wiring to the wheel speed sensors? Fuses?
The Airbag light (top light on the speedo on mine) should come on for about 4 seconds when you turn the key to position 1.
The ABS light (next to 7K on my tach) should come on for about 2 seconds when you turn the key to position 2.
The faults for these systems won't show up in a generic OBDII scan tool.
Problems with the wheel sensors or the wiring to them will leave the ABS light on, or have it come on again when you start moving.
Airbag system should be fuse F18 (5A), ABS system should be F33 (10A), instruments should be F5 (5a), F9 (5A), F21 (10A), F30 (5A), and F40 (5A).
These are in the panel behind the left kick panel.
You can also get all the lights to light up and gauges to move with the secret trip odometer menu (choose option test 2.0):
